WELCOME TO INVICTUS BOSTON NUTRITION

Welcome to the Invictus Boston Nutrition Program. Our Nutrition Program allows our members to continue improving their fitness outside the gym. The Nutrition Program is comprised of 4 separate tracks with a 5th track under construction. All tracks offer the latest scientific information on nutrition and exercise with the best practical application guidelines. Through our nutrition program, you will work one-on-one with your personal coach to optimize your nutrition for your individual needs.

TIERS:

Tier 1:
Our first level of nutrition coaching is for the do it yourself personalities. Receive our starter nutrition guidelines packet that includes general insight on weight loss, weight gain, maintenance, as well as nutrition timing and what foods are best for overall health and wellness. This program is great for athletes of all ages and abilities who want to take charge of their nutrition and are ready to kickstart their goals with our help.

Tier 2:
For those who want and need guidance and better understanding of how to eat. With our Tier 2 subscription, you will receive your own personal nutrition coach to oversee your progress and help you achieve your goals. With our tier two program, you will receive two meetings with the coach.

  1. Initial goal setting
  2. Review of progress

You will also receive weekly check-in and updates every Wednesday.

MEET OUR PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Jon Esposito

PhD candidate, MA, CSCS, USAW, CISSN
Jon has a Master’s Degree in exercise science and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, as well as certified in Olympic weightlifting (USAW) and nutrition through the International Society of Sports Nutrition (CISSN). He is currently pursuing his PhD in exercise physiology through Concordia University of Chicago. He was most recently a collegiate strength coach at Tennessee Tech University (Division I, Ohio Valley Conference) where he earned his Master’s Degree and worked with Women’s Track & Field, Cross Country, Golf and Soccer.

MEET OUR NUTRITION STAFF

Caroline Brantley

MS, RD, LDN
Caroline is a licensed registered dietitian nutritionist with experience working with cardiac risk factors such as hypertension, high cholesterol, and obesity, as well as diabetes, pediatric nutrition, sports nutrition and overall health and wellness.

She has always had a passion for sports and fitness and is knowledgeable about how nutrition plays a key role in reaching your goals. Caroline received her undergraduate degree in food and nutrition from the University of Alabama while concurrently completing her dietetic internship. Caroline then went on to complete her master’s degree in nutrition at the University of Alabama.

This track is for those who wish to lose weight as well as:

  • Learn what the latest exercises proven to lose weight are and why

  • Improve your overall health for longevity

TRACK 2:
This track is for those who wish to build muscle and can be done after the weight loss track if desired. In addition to gaining muscle, this track is also for those who want to:

  • Improve strength
  • Improve cardiovascular fitness
  • Reduce inflammation
  • Increase energy
  • Learn what the latest exercises proven to increase strength are and why
  • Learn why building muscle can improve your immune system
  • Learn what foods are proven to help increase strength and build muscle
  • Learn about what the most effective and safest supplements are for increasing strength and building muscle

TRACK 3:
This track is for those who are at a healthy weight and wish to maintain their weight as well as:

  • Improve overall quality of health
  • Learn what foods can improve sleep quality
  • Learn what foods reduce inflammation
  • Learn what foods improve brain function
  • Learn what diets and foods to follow for overall long-term health

TRACK 4:
This track is solely for those who wish to improve performance in any sport through nutrition. Athletes will also learn how to:

  • Increase strength through nutrition
  • Increase power through nutrition
  • Time nutrients for optimal performance
  • Learn how to choose the safest and most effective sports supplements to enhance performance
  • Eat for optimal performance
  • Improve sleep quality through nutrition
  • Reduce inflammation through nutrition
  • Maintain optimal weight for performance
